Cancer is happening right now. On 9th November 2012 our family lost my beautiful Nanna, Denise to cancer. My Nanna had a cancer called Mesothelioma. Mesothelioma is a type of cancer caused by exposure to asbestos. Mesothelioma is the most dangerous of the asbestos related diseases, in that it can affect people with little or intermittent levels of asbestos exposure. My Nanna was a bright and bubbly lady who always brought smiles to our family. She fought her battle until the end. She did not deserve cancer. No one deserves cancer, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life Pretty Muddy to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me and my family now. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure.
