About this event: The annual Women’s Cancer Challenge is the biggest sporting participation event in the Western Isles. It brings together women of all ages and sporting abilities for this fun, sporting event and for the first time ever, the Women’s Cancer Challenge is a virtual event. This year’s virtual event is ideal for everyone to get involved, you can incorporate it into your daily exercise routine – a run, a walk, an online fitness class – anything goes! Entry is just £10 and every single person who participates can be proud they are making a difference and helping to raise vital funds for Cancer Research UK. On the day: On Saturday 16 May, at 12pm the virtual Women’s Cancer Challenge will take place. Join in by taking part in a safe physical activity – this could be a walk, a run, an indoor workout, a session on an exercise bike, some laps of the garden – you name it as long as it meets Government guidelines regarding exercise and social distancing.
