Megan Walks All Over Cancer

I’ll be walking 10,000 steps a day during the whole month of March. Last year Cancer research supported research that was worth £386 million. Imagine how many lives could be saved/improved with the support that they give. I'm sure we all know at least one person, if not more, that has suffered, beaten or passed away due to cancer. It's an awful feeling knowing someone you love dearly is going to die of cancer and it's too late to do anything. However, just hearing the word cancer can darken some people as they automatically think they're going to die. I couldn't imagine being told I had it. With the money that everyone raises, it can help beat cancer sooner or even detect cancer sooner so we don't have to lose the ones that we love dearly or even yourself. I would really appreciate it if everyone took the time and donated to my page or in person, even if it's the smallest amount of money that consists of £1 or £2. That £1 or £2 can help fund something as big as a new research centre or as small as glass slides to analyse cancer cells. You never know when you or someone that you know might need the support of cancer research. They can help families through various ways during such difficult times.
