My Story
Hey guys, I’ve signed up to join the “Walk All Over Cancer” fundraiser for Cancer Research UK! In the month of March, every day for 31 days, I will be walking at least 10K steps per day with the aim of completing 400K steps in total in the month of March. There are now an estimated 2.5 million people living with Cancer in the UK which is just under 4% of the population and at the moment there’s only a 50% survival rate for cancer diagnosis. Cancer Research is integral to increasing that number – hopeful that we can one day eradicate Cancer completely, or at least increase survival rates to more positive numbers!

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
