My Story
I'm Max, and I signed up to run 10k for Cancer Research UK. Then in November, I injured my knee. But I decided not to pull out. I've been working with my physio to get back on my feet (badum tsss!), but the honest truth is I'll probably be walking half of this race. My original hope was that this race could be my motivation to train to run 10k, but I need to play the long game with my leg, and I'd rather finish it slowly than wreck my knee trying to be a hero. I don't have a personal cancer story to share. I haven't lost anyone to it. I'm raising funds so that stays true for me, and for everyone I love. If you're wondering whether to donate: yes.
