Maxine's Race for Life

I'm taking part in a 5k Race for Life to raise money as cancer has not gone away during the truly awful year we've all had! Its more important than ever that lost time is made up for and that donations can resume to continue to help save lives. This is a cause very close to my heart as I've now lost many loved ones to this awful disease. Its sneaky, nasty and often doesn't show symptoms until its too late and it needs stopping in its tracks right now! I'm sure it's affected every single one of us as the shocking figure of 1 in 2 people that will be diagnosed with cancer shows. However, with continued research to improve testing and to give earlier detection, this will hopefully not be the case for the future.
