My Story
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. Unfortunately, cancer has been a huge part of my life for the last few years. I lost my dad, Philip, to thymic cancer in 2016, my mama Sheila has been living with terminal lung cancer, and at the beginning of this year my mum Anna-Marie was diagnosed with stage four lung cancer. That's why I would like to raise as much money as we can to help Cancer Research save lives and make new breakthroughs in their research to ensure cancer won't ever win! 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now.

CAUSE
All Cancer Types
Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
