I will do my best and hopefully with your help will raise the targeted amount. This year is going to be a massive challenge and as part of my target amount there is money to attempt to buy 2 tv flat screens for the Poole intensive care unit as a small gift in way of thanks for the care and support I received after my efforts of Bournemouth marathon last October . Which some of you know did not go according to any plan and am very lucky thanks to them for still being alive . Please tell all your friends and family to help support me in any way thank you so much . Cancer is happening right now, which is why I’m raising money right now for Cancer Research UK. CAUSE
Bobby Moore Fund
Bobby Moore was just 51 years old when he died. Shortly after his death in 1993, Bobby’s widow Stephanie Moore OBE set up the Bobby Moore Fund to raise money for pioneering bowel cancer research. Since the fund was set up , bowel cancer mortality rates have fallen by over 30%. However, with 46 people losing their life to the disease every day in the UK, we still have a long way to go.
