One in two people will be diagnosed with cancer in our lifetime. Every two minutes someone is diagnosed with cancer..........two facts that are worrying. This is why in April i will be supporting Cancer Research UK and running the London Marathon. They help develop safe and effective methods to prevent, detect, diagnose, treat and ultimately cure the many different diseases all called cancer. For every step i take I will be taking a step to support and raise as much money as possible for CRUK.

Cancer survival rates have doubled over the past 40 years. Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further.
