My Story
Thank you for visiting my Fundraising Page. The money I raise will help fund life-saving research and to bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. I will be doing the Hadrian’s Wall Walk solo starting on 6th September 2021. This is 84 miles long and I estimate will take me 5/6 days. I will be camping each night so I will be carrying everything I will need in my pack. The hike starts at Bowness on Solway and finishes at Wallsend in Newcastle. 1 in 2 people will contract cancer and many of us will therefore know someone who has been effected. My Dad was diagnosed with lung cancer a few years ago so this is a personal issue for me. If you can spare a few pence or even a few pounds then I would be extremely grateful.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
