Matt's Race for Life

Back in April, I was diagnosed with Stage 1 Testicular Cancer. There was a quick turnaround and I had surgery to remove my tumour. With any luck, there is a large chance that my cancer has been cured from the surgery alone, and for that I class myself as incredibly fortunate. Every day people are living with cancer and more people than ever are beating it. But still more can be done. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work. For this reason, I'm putting myself through the trauma of cardiovascular exercise to raise money for the continued great work that is going on at CRUK. I'll be taking part alongside my great friends who have supported me throughout my journey so far, and who were the ones who instigated this cause on my behalf. Thanks for your support. Much love, Matt. x
