My Story

I am going to be running 10k on Sunday (to warm up) then cycling 200k on Tuesday and 200k on Wednesday to raise money for Cancer Research UK. Brain Cancer took my wife and my children's mother's life and sadly each week I hear of someone new being diagnosed with cancer - but is that surprising given that 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with in their lifetime? Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, it's time to move the dial on Cancer and start finding a cure.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
