2021 Virgin Money London Marathon

Sun 3 Oct 2021

I'm running the London Marathon for Cancer Research UK.

My Story

Hello, If you are reading this then it clearly means that you have heard that I have had a moment of madness and agreed to run the London Marathon! As a person who has a strong dislike to running, to say this is going to be a challenge is an understatement. I have personally been affected by cancer and understand the devastating effect it can have, not only on the person who has been diagnosed with it, but also the effect on the loved ones around them. Statistically either you or someone you know will sadly contract cancer and that is why I am trying to raise money to support Cancer Research. By donating money, you will be contributing to vital research that will hopefully help lower the mortality rate making the big "cancer" word a lot less scary and fatal. Cancer research UK has already saved so many lives through their research, but the work must continue until they can cure all types of cancers. So, I would be grateful if you would kindly donate and help fight cancer. Thank you for your support and let’s hope I make it around Matt xx
