My Story
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life Pretty Muddy to raise money and save lives. Over the years cancer has effected many of my friends and family but never more so than recently, our world has changed so much by the recent loss of our brother John James, at the young age of 50 he was taken from us on 7th July 2019 after giving a brave fight against an aggressive brain tumour living his new wife and his 4 children. John was a clean living, healthy man who loved his job as a fire fighter and was always happy to help anyone in any way he could, he loved his family and told us so every day until the day he gained his wings, Anyone who met this magnificent man would always say he made a difference to their life even if it was in a small way, John will always be remembered for his acts of kindness and infectious smile and generosity . John has left a massive void in our life and this is my way of showing him we are still fighting his fight and that of others going through the same thing, I want to do my bit for him and other families that are fighting this disease , Cancer doesn't care what age colour religion or sex you are it is one of the worst conditions in the world, it effects not just the victims and survivors but their families too so please help by donating today I hoping to raise as much as I can to support this great cause. Any donation that you can gift is really appreciated and I am so grateful Thank You x 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now.
