My Story
I am planning to join and hopefully complete the 'Walking 100 miles in February' in memory of our beloved son Steven who at 45 years of age lost his brave fight against cancer on 28th March 2017. Also for those dear friends who at this moment in time are facing the same personal cancer related challenges as myself. Any donations towards helping in the research of this dreadful disease will be gratefully received. Wishing good luck to all who are taking part💖 ............. Yesterday (MONDAY 26th February 2024) found me completing my '100 mile Walk in February' challenge for CRUK with a return walk through Holyrood Park>Portobello in glorious Edinburgh sunshine even managing over the previous few days more miles..... 133 in total! A huge thank you to all who so kindly and generously donated, for your uplifting and encouraging words, for my loving husband and walking companion George, for my dear family (and faithful dogs 🐕🐕🐕)and for all those friends who cheerfully joined me en route. Be very proud of yourselves for supporting such a truely worthwhile cause. 💖
