Jackie Baker

My Story

Jackie was an inspirational lady who tirelessly fund raised for Breast Cancer Research and Support at Princess Alexandra Hospital, as well other charities that were close to her and her friends hearts. Cancer survival rates have doubled in the last 40 years. But it can’t stop there. This is why I am walking 13 miles.....further than I've walked before............ Too many of my family and friends have been impacted already. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with Cancer Research UK.

CAUSE

Breast cancer

With almost 140 women diagnosed every day, breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK. And, although rarer, around 350 men are also diagnosed with breast cancer every year. The good news is more than two-thirds of women now survive 20 years or more. Help Cancer Research UK find new ways to diagnose and treat the disease.
