My Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. I’m going to be cycling 300 miles in July. Cancer Research is imperative, over the past 5 years, I've lost my mother and more recently (Oct 24) my wife of 17 years pass away due to this destructive disease 😢 💔. No matter the size of your contribution, every penny helps to help all of us in our time of need. I'm in my late 50s but enjoy cycling, so I'll get on my bike and try to accomplish this feat in the hope my efforts will help all of us at some point in our lives. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
