I’m taking part in Shine Night Walk to help beat cancer

So 4 years ago we received the devastating news that Denise had anal cancer. Shock wasn't the word. We beat that and we thought that's the end of that.
Fast forward to April this year and the old saying lightning doesn't strike twice has unfortunately been proven wrong. However this time the news was even more devastating, its incurable this time and we have no idea how long we have left. Still unsure as to what cancer it actually is as the mass is so large that biopsies are proving inconclusive. So I figured that if Denise is going through pain then it's about time I did to. Don't get me wrong I've probably walked 10k in my time before but this time I'm doing it for her and the countless others who need help to try and get rid of this disease for good.
So please give what you can to help if you can. Your help will be greatly appreciated and will give me extra motivation to do this. Thank you ❤️
And incase you wonder why I say "we" in this story, it's simple, it's because we are a team and she ain't facing this alone no matter how long we have left ill be there for her 💪❤️

So the walk is almost upon me and by the time it comes around my amazing fiance Denise will have completed 5 cycles of therapy with one more before they due to scan her to see if it is having any effect... So how's things been you may ask? At first it was tough, her pain was still bad and was on syringe drive for weeks. Now however I'm pleased to say that her symptoms seem to have improved and we are enjoying time together at last. We still have bad days but now we have a few good ones to throw in also. We have a break in Blackpool soon as a family and are setting achievable goals. I don't know how she is doing it sometimes and it is rough when the sickness hits her but she is a true warrior and battles through it in the hope that the treatment has shrank it enough for the time being. Oh and she lost her hair which was emotional but it means that every night I can kiss my lucky egg like sanka does in one of my all time favourite films cool runnings... I think she likes it 😊
