My Story

I'm doing RideLondon in 2023 to raise money for Cancer Research. Sadly, a dear family member, Richard, was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer in 2022. He's undergone some groundbreaking treatment which was developed by Cancer Research UK, delivered by our amazing NHS service, and has been cared for along the way by the wonderful people at Macmillan Cancer Support. Sadly, Richards treatment won't cure him. But it has bought him, and us, some very precious time - which we're all savouring. So please support me to raise money for this wonderful cause, and help Cancer Research UK continue to seek a cure for cancer.

Our work has helped double cancer survival in the UK in the last 50 years. Despite this incredible progress, there’s more to be done. Nearly 1 in 2 of us will get cancer in our lifetime. Help us carry out world-class research into the prevention, detection and treatment of more than 200 types of cancer.
