I have chosen to do the Shine Night Walk because cancer is something that affects the lives of so many. Myself, my family, and friends have also been affected by those close to us who have either fought or lost their battle with cancer. We need change, better treatments, prevention, and support to be available. Each year Cancer Research UK’s scientists get closer to beating cancer, and they’ve helped double survival rates in the last 40 years. Only with our continued support can they turn this research into breakthroughs that save millions of lives.
