My Story
Like many families, mine is having to deal with cancer - as you might know, my elder sister Anna is going through her battle against this illness since July 2019. In a moment of weakness, I thought that one way to support my sister through her journey is to dedicate some time and effort in preparing for this run - we hope that by March some milestones will have been met through her effort, so I will celebrate by completing the marathon and raising some fudns for research, so that many other afected patients can benefit from increased knowledge about their illness. Your help and support will be such a boost of energy for myself and my sister! Go, Anna, go!

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
