In memory of
We are doing this for our beloved friend and colleague Craig Petch. Craig had only just turned 34 when cancer cruelly took him from the people who loved him. Craig was the kind of person you only get to meet once in a lifetime, if you’re lucky. With a larger than life personality he was a true inspiration to us all. He touched the hearts of so many people along the way, making it impossible to ever forget him. Without Craig in our lives, it just feels like there’s something missing. He is desperately missed by all who knew him. He was fiercely loyal, kind and thoughtful – nothing was ever too much trouble. He was always the “go to” guy if you needed any help or advice, work wise or personal. Razor sharp witted, he had the ability to generate real belly laughs with his trade mark soft velvet tone or even just a well directed look. He was a great cook who loved sharing his recipes and talking football with his fellow Gooners. You could guarantee most Monday mornings would start with banter from Camp Petch following the weekend’s games. Anyone who was lucky enough to know him was genuinely a better person for it. Few people in life get to leave a handprint on our hearts in the way Craig has done with us. He’s left behind his beautiful girlfriend, Zoe, his family and countless friends. The damage caused by his loss is irreparable. The world is a darker place without him. Please help us to stop this happening to others by donating in Craig’s name to this Just Giving page. Anything you can spare, no matter how small will make a difference. We have only just lost him. The 6th July will be a difficult day indeed for us all, but we will be there in some number to celebrate the life of our dear friend, and to support this worthy cause. And to our dear Craig. You have only slipped away to the next room. We will see you again soon. Until then, we will all look to the sky, watch the clouds, think of you and smile. For Mr Craig Petch.
