My Story
Thank you for visiting my Cancer Research UK Veg Pledge page. I will be going vegan this November to raise money for Cancer Research UK. The money I raise will help fund life-saving research to bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. Please show your support with a donation to my page. As some of you already know, I am currently experiencing the effects cancer has on a person, as Helen is about to start treatment to rid her of this evil disease. Without the amazing work Cancer Research does, the success of this treatment would not be possible. Having previously been a veggie, this should be a doddle for me...however, as my work colleagues can confirm, I do have like a sausage roll from the local bakery, and a trip to the local pub isn't complete without pork scratchings.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
