My Story
Grace and Mark are running for Cancer Research UK because we have lost family through cancer and another family member has been treated successfully as well. Research for a cure is important, however, so too is treatment to prolong life to spend more quality time with someone who does pass away, so we are going to run through those streets of Oxford inspired to raise money to help others and to appreciate the work the Charity does to help families. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
