Me and my brother Thomas are trying to raise money for lung cancer research. Our dad is currently battling on and fighting for time with lung cancer. We wanted to make a difference to lung cancer and make him proud while we still can. So here we are asking for sponsors for our 5k run. ( don’t laugh, we’re going to train before hand. Lol) We are hoping to raise £530 -£10 for every year of his life. If we manage to raise more than this we are going to hope and pray that every £10 we raise over £530 will be a bonus year we get with our dad. Fingers crossed. We shall perhaps up the k if the 5k comes too easy. 🙄🙄🤣 Also we will update you all with the training preparation via videos. Donate if you can. Every penny counts. CAUSE
Lung cancer
Each year more than 43,500 people are diagnosed with lung cancer in the UK. We urgently need to drive progress so that more people survive their disease. Cancer Research UK is at the forefront in lung cancer research and is funding various projects to tackle the disease head on. This includes the TRACERx study, Cancer Research UK’s largest investment into lung cancer to date. This study has already transformed our understanding of how lung cancer evolves and is continuing to shed light on how to prevent, detect and treat the disease.
