My Story
I have dedicated my September month to cycling 300 miles in order to help give back to the people who gave me my life and help them regain control in the aftermath of the pandemic. For each mile I cycle, I aim to raise £1 for a £300 total donation, but I’m confident that we could do more. Why did I choose Cancer Research UK? 5 Years ago both my dad and I were both diagnosed with different types of cancers just weeks apart. Cancer Research UK’s work makes the lives that we both live today possible and its time to give back as much as we can. 2020 has been a weird year for the whole world and lots of people, families and industries have suffered. Cancer Research UK is not an exception. With an expected £150 million drop in fundraising income between now and March 2021, critical research that will help us get to a better cancer-free future is fading away. Help me reach my target so that more people get the opportunity to live their life to the fullest like my Dad and me.
