Marion's Race for Life
Bridgend 5k 2020

dad’s side of the family has had cancer like a thread running through it. My grandfather died of hepatic cancer many years before I was born. Dad died of lung cancer, anon-smoker; his sisters and brother all died of other cancers. Most recently my sister has had haematological cancers and I have become involved as a sibling stem cell donor. She has participated in research studies during her treatment. As a doctor I know that CRUK helps move knowledge forward by funding research studies of good quality so the next generation may have more resilience to all types of cancer. Thank you for supporting my run around Bridgend.
