Couch to 5k for Sylvain
In memory of
Sylvain Lamiscarre
Last week, my 57 year old uncle passed away after a long battle with a brain tumour. This was not his first encounter with cancer, which he’d already recovered from at 9. He was a delightful person. That, and because I’m grossly unfit thanks to a year of lockdown, is why I'll be taking part in the Race for Life at Home. Every pound you can donate will go towards Cancer Research UK’s ground-breaking work. I am hoping to raise £57 per km, or £285 in all! Please sponsor me, particularly if you have no interest in running!

Cancer survival rates have doubled over the past 40 years. Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further. Help Cancer Research UK improve results even faster.
