My Story
Cancer is a global challenge. In 2018, 18 million people world-wide were diagnosed with cancer. In the UK alone, more than 360,000 people are diagnosed with cancer every year – that’s nearly 990 people every day. Cancer takes the lives of those who are mothers, fathers, sons, daughters, sisters, brothers, husband, wives, grandparents Cancer takes the lives of those who have jobs, who raise families, who make a difference in the world. It’s doesn’t care what race, colour or creed you are . Cancer destroys families and friendships. Cancer changes lives. Cancer steals your family and your friends. Cancer kills. Cancer doesn’t FUCKING care. Cancer Research UK has played a role in developing 8 of the world’s top 10 cancer drugs, so our work is saving lives everywhere. Their work relies on many thousands of people helping in small ways to make a big difference to the lives of people with cancer. So let’s all #standuptocancer #icanwecan Together we will beat cancer.
