My Story
Hi supporters, Cancer has affected alot of our family and friends over the years and this will be my second time of doing the race for Life, the first time as part of the '759 team' made up of cadets and civilian committee members from 759 (Beccles) Sqn ATC and in the last 12 months we have lost of one of those team members to this horrid disease, which prompted myself to do the race again but since then I have had a family member and 2 very close family friends diagnosised with it. Which has made me even more determined to take part and raise funds to help in anyway possible whether that be money in to research, money to help provide support those going through the treatment for cancer or just raise awareness about how many people this disease actually effects then I'm in. Please support me in anyway you can as every little helps Norwich Race for Life 2019 5k is happening on 12th May and this is also my birthday but I will be thinking of all those that have been through or are going through cancer treatment and hopefully we will reach our target to help the research into all areas of this horrid disease. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
