About this event: Due to the huge success in 2018, Gibraltar Local Committee are hosting their second charity abseil from the top of the Europort Building in Gibraltar. The abseil will be taking place on Saturday 31st August 2019. All participants will be fundriasing in aid of Cancer Research UK. A minimum of £200 sponsorship each is required to take part. 100% of all money raised will go to Cancer Research UK to help them reach their mission of 3 in 4 people surviving cancer by 2034. On the day: You will be allocated a time slot for your abseil by Gibraltar Local Committee. Get involved: Once registered please sign up to the Gibraltar Abseil 2019 team on the CRUK Fundraising Platform to start fundraising £200.
CAUSE
All Cancer Types
Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
