Race for Life at Home

In memory of
Carol Briscoe
My sister-in-law Carol was THE most brave lady I know. She beat Breast cancer years ago and proudly tells everyone that she is a survivor. She'd gladly show her scars and everything that came along with being one to beat this dreaded illness. She has been diagnosed recently with stage 4 Cervical cancer which she sadly succumbed to within weeks of the illness being confirmed. Carol was always fun to be with, we both had a passion for shopping and would be delighted in the little bargains that we find during our little trips. I have never seen her sad aside from the time when her husband Rex was very ill, who also sadly passed away due to cancer. I am doing this race (my first ever) in memory of Rex and Carol who have always been good to me and made me (and my young Charles) feel very welcome when I joined their family and was new in this country. After a year where vital cancer trials have been delayed, the Race for Life is more important than ever. That's why I'll be taking part in the Race for Life at Home. Every pound you can donate will go towards Cancer Research UK’s ground-breaking work, so please sponsor me today!
