My Story
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. As you all know I had breast cancer in 2013 and this is my way of giving something back and helping to research and beat this horrible disease. I have lost a number of people to this disease. This year I want to run this race in memory of a dear friend, Dave Airey, who fought and lost this battle last year. I also want to do in honour of my Race for life Buddy, who is fighting again at them moment and to one of my closest friend who has just been diagnosed.
