My Story

After a year where vital cancer trials have been delayed, the Race for Life is more important than ever. My mum got diagnosed with bowel cancer on the 28th February, she has has surgery and amazing care from the minute of diagnosis. We couldn't thank everyone enough for their support, care and well wishes. Mum is recovering well and everything is very positive for us all with news that her cancer hasn't spread. What a rollercoaster! Our thoughts go to those who have experienced heart ache and pain and also celebrated success. There is no journey like it. Love to all x
