Margaret's Race for Life
Swindon 5k 2019
Sun 19 May 2019 - Sun 19 May 2019
I decided that I would be doing race for life as the charity is close to my heart. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2017, with the support and help of the NHS, my family and friends I beat it and a year on I am in remission. In May 2018 My daughter Theresa lost her lovely Friend Niamh to this terrible disease. This year 2019 our beautiful daughter Celia has been diagnosed with stage 4 bowel cancer, it has already spread to her liver and lungs. I pray every day that they find a cure but at the moment, as we know there isn’t one. Each day someone, somewhere is diagnosed with this cruel disease. I’m doing this in memory of my daughters friend Niamh and my incredible daughter Celia who has amazing fight... Thank you for your donation Margaret x
