Cancer is happening right now and impacting on us all. My dad passed away in 2004 following his own long battle - that was hard enough, however when it is followed by other family members, friends and colleagues also losing their battles, it brings it home how real this disease really is and how scary the stats of 1 in 2 of us will get cancer in our lifetime is. This is my personal reason to why I’m raising money right now for Cancer Research UK. Please donate to my page today and help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured.

Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further.
