Our motivation - The Beautiful Monkey x
Thanks for visiting our fundraising page. We are walking all over cancer for Monkey (who's real name is Alyssa!), who was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia (ALL) in August 2016. As you can imagine this has changed her life dramatically, although you wouldn't know it as she is still an extremely happy, incredible little girl! On the days she can manage it, Alyssa will enjoy taking part, going for walks and counting her steps too! We know fundraising requests come in thick & fast, so we appreciate all that you can donate to help research into these life changing illnesses. Leukaemia
Five-year survival rates for leukaemia have more than tripled in the last 40 years. But despite this progress, around 4,600 people still lose their lives to the disease every year. Almost a third of all cancers diagnosed in children are leukaemia. Your donation can help Cancer Research UK find better treatments and new ways to prevent the disease in adults and children.
