My Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my fundraising page. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I’m fundraising right now for Cancer Research UK. There’s no time to lose! Donate to my page today and help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. John & I intend to walk a marathon (26.2 miles) around the Ribble Valley to raise money for Cancer Research UK in memory of my mum, Sue Shepherd. The planned date is Saturday July 20th. In October 2015 mum was diagnosed with breast cancer. She had surgery & a lengthy period of treatment. In April 2018 she suddenly deteriorated & we lost her on the 11th May 2018. We have plotted this route over the past few months; it’s called Sue’s Loop. It’s going to be a tough walk so please give what you can for this amazing cause. Cancer affects so many lives & the research is vital. Thank you Penny & John
