I'm taking part in Race for Life to raise money to beat cancer

Having lost two of my grandparents to cancer, cancer is a very personal issue to me. I still remember the shock I felt as I saw my grandfather as thin as a twig, as lung cancer weakened him, eventually stripping his ability to walk as he lost all his muscles. My grandmother died from breast cancer when I was 2, so sadly, I wasn't able to get to know her. This is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise awareness and funds for Cancer Research UK.

1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now.
