My Story

Maniloonies because we are both huge fans of Barry Manilow! My mum died of cancer, my friends dad is dying and another's husband is currently fighting cancer. My mum died less than 2 months after my wedding, she held on for that then gave up. My fellow Maniloony Heather is my best friend and was like a second daughter to my mum. We're pushing our couch potato selves to raise as much as we can to stop others going through the hell my mum went through and others are currently going through.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
