My Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. This March I’m walking 10,000 steps a day throughout the month to help beat cancer. Feeling a bit daunted as my energy levels are not what they were following MS relapse and a bout of Covid in the last 6 months. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime, and we all have loved ones who have been through or are going through it now. My motivation to get out there every day is my amazing Sam, keeping strong and courageous throughout his treatment. All Cancer Types
Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
