My Story
Last year we watched as my mum (Nicole's Grandma) was sadly diagnosed with Stage 2b Cervical Cancer in February. She endured the radiotherapy and chemotherapy til the end but sadly the treatment did not work. After one course of intense Chemotherapy in November, we were given the news that the cancer was too aggressive and there was nothing more they could do. Her fight sadly ended on 12th November 2017 which was also Rememberance Sunday. Nicole & I had spoken weeks ago about doing something for charity in memory of Grandma. And what better charity than the one raising money to find a cure for this awful disease!! Wish us luck!!!! Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure.
