Mum and Dad.
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. I’ve decided to step up to the challenge of walking 10,000 steps every day throughout the month of July to help beat cancer sooner. As you all know sadly my lovely mum died in May of esophageal cancer and leukemia after a long brave fight for 2 and a half years. She suffered so much. Helping in her care at the time helped me to feel I was giving something back to her, so by doing this everyday for a month I feel I'm still doing something for her and helping to fight this most horrendous illness. I also lost my wonderful dad to cancer in 2003. I lost my 2 aunties to cancer and my nan to cancer. My father in law also died of cancer. So this is my small way of raising funds for cancer research that has affected our family so much. There is no pressure to donate but any thing you wish to do would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all my lovely friends.

Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further.
