My Story

As you will all know we lost the light of our world on 20th November 2018, (Mum and Dads 53rd Wedding Anniversary) our Dad, Grandad Ucky and Great Grandad. Dad was only diagnosed 6 weeks before, so it was a tremendous shock to him and all of us that such a cruel disease can take someone so quickly. 10,000 steps is a lot for me, especially as I now have a desk job (!) but I am determined to do it in his memory and hopefully the money raised will be one little step to finding a cure for such a devastating disease 💙

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
