My Story
Most people have a loved one, or at least know someone, whose life has been touched — perhaps ended — by cancer. My wife lost her mother, Sandra, at the age of 18 when she was just starting to find her place in the world. I can't begin to imagine how devastating that must have been. Added to that, our two beautiful daughters don't even know a world in which they have two of each type of grandparent, having missed out on a grandma and a grandad. While we sadly can't turn back time, we can do something to help others avoid this situation. Treatments these days are increasingly targeted and are getting better all the time, but research remains vital and that research needs funding. I hope my daughter and I can do our bit to help others by raising a few quid on our pages. Please sponsor us.
