My Story
Most people have a loved one, or at least know someone, whose life has been touched — perhaps ended — by cancer. I lost both my dad and his dad to lung cancer. More recently, my mum’s been successfully treated for breast cancer (and continues to be, praise be to the NHS 💙). Treatments these days are increasingly targeted and are getting better all the time, but research remains vital and that research needs funding. I hope I can do my bit to help others by raising a few quid on this page. Please sponsor me.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
