I'm taking on a Race for Life to raise money to beat cancer sooner
My Story
Cancer plays dirty, but so will me and my good friend Ella Barlow on Sunday 17th May. In memory of Gloria, Michael, Sandra, Margaret & Annette, I have chosen to take on a Race for Life on what will be my 22nd HEALTHY Birthday in honour of those who lost their lives to this dreadful disease. This disease has broken many hearts of those close to me, and has affected each person I know in some way or another - which is why we are going to try and raise as much money as possible to help try and beat cancer sooner. Whilst my target £250, this can be exceeded, and therefore anymore than this will be a bonus! Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
