My Story
I'm braving the Cold Water Challenge in November Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. This November, I’m doing immersing myself in cold water every day of the month to help raise money for Cancer Research UK. At least twice weekly I will be venturing into the cold waters of the Fife coast with the remaining days immersing myself in cold waters of baths/showers. In the past I have only entered Scottish waters in the summer so this is a very different experience for me! I'm taking part in this challenge in memory of family members who lost their lives to cancer, including my mum with ovarian cancer, dad with prostate cancer and grandfather with bowel cancer and several others dear to me. 1 in 2 of us will get cancer in our lifetime.
