My Story

Our names are Magan and Tyler, we have decided to walk the Pen-y-ghent this spring to raise money for this charity. We have chosen this charity because it is close to us and our family. Sadly we lost an amazing family member last year 2020 Anthony to cancer, he was an incredible man with a heart of gold, we miss his laughs, jokes and his funny videos. Anthony had so many friends who loved him dearly, and we all miss him so. My dad Gareth is undergoing treatment for cancer at the moment, he is a strong and brave man, who has has battled cancer before and we hope he can do it again with us all by his side. He is a soldier and a true hero! We found out the fantastic news that my dad Gareth is in remission for his Cancer! Together we beat this! We are doing this in there names. Many of us have lost family and friends to this horrible disease, and we want to help raise money for those who are suffering with cancer and to help the family members too. We want a cure! We just want our loved ones.

CAUSE

All Cancer Types

Our work has helped double cancer survival in the UK in the last 50 years. Despite this incredible progress, there’s more to be done. Nearly 1 in 2 of us will get cancer in our lifetime. Help us carry out world-class research into the prevention, detection and treatment of more than 200 types of cancer.
