I'm taking part in Race for Life to raise money to beat cancer

In memory of

Plops, Uncle David and those Recently Diagnosed

The suffering I'll endure by running on 30th June doesn't compare a jot to the suffering endured by those with cancer and their loved ones...

It's not just the treatment of the disease itself that is important, it's about tidying up Cancer Care pathways, making them faster so that waits for results and treatment aren't as long.

So much has changed in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer in the past ten years, I can scarcely imagine the difference your donation today and the research it funds will have in the next ten years.

1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now.
